In July 2022, the City of Chicago adopted a significant change to its Zoning Ordinance. Known as the
Connected Communities Ordinance, the change expands upon the City’s prior TOD ordinance and allows
greater density and reduced parking requirements, among other notable changes.
 
In this workshop, our speakers will walk through specific case studies and examples of early approvals under
the new code, and provide tangible and tactical advice on how to apply the new rules to achieve greater
development rights and outcomes.  Light refreshments will be served and brief networking will follow the formal program.
